Nonde Charity Luchembe Chikumbi is a seasoned development practitioner and financial inclusion advocate with extensive experience in digital financial services, financial literacy, and institutional capacity building.

​

As Director at Agora Microfinance, she provides strategic leadership focused on expanding access to responsible financial services, strengthening governance frameworks, and driving inclusive economic empowerment.

 

She is passionate about building ethical, customer-centered financial ecosystems that uplift underserved communities and foster sustainable growth. Her work bridges policy, practice, and purpose — ensuring financial systems work for the vulnerable, not just the visible.

 

Charity has a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Nelson Mandela Business School in SA, BSC Computing from Greenwich University.

​

Further, she is a Certified Digital Finance Practitioners (DFI - CDFP) covering financial inclusion - Digital Money – Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, as well as training in Oversight of Payment Systems- Bank of New York, Implications for Financial Supervision, Climate Change Risk– Toronto Centre and Training in fintech supervision and also a qualification in gender equality, Toronto Centre and Digital Frontiers.
