Lionel Dieu, Director
Lionel has been working as an investor in the impact industry for more than 15 years (Triodos Bank, Incofin Investment Management, EDFI Management Company), where he held positions such as Senior Investment Officer, Fund Manager, and Investment Committee Member.
His fields of expertise include financial inclusion, governance, energy access, and sustainable agriculture. He served as a Non-Executive Director of several microfinance institutions in Africa (Nigeria, Burkina Faso), PAYGO Solar (Kenya), and has been a member of the Advisory Committee of several impact funds (Schneider Electric Energy Access Asia, Access to Clean Power Fund).
He is currently Fund Manager of AgriFI, a EU-funded impact facility specialized in providing access to finance to smallholder farmers in emerging markets. Lionel is a Belgian citizen, father of two.​
