Gerald Kalyondo, IT Manager
Gerald is the IT Manager at AMZ. His role is to oversee and manage the company's technology infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation, and to devise and execute IT policies and strategies that align with AMZ's business goals.
He is a skilled IT professional with a diverse background in fintech, banking, and social enterprise, with over a decade of practical experience in data processing, computer programming, and digital communications. Gerald has held a variety of positions in Information Technology over the course of his 11-year professional career. He was in charge of the bank's data management as a vital Database Administration Specialist at Atlasmara Bank. He honed his skills as a Digital Communications Officer at FSD Zambia after taking on the role of driving IT support and digital communications at COMACO, where he made a significant contribution to the organization's success. Gerald has also worked as a Webmaster and Software Developer at Celpay Zambia Limited and as a Senior Creative Officer at Brandline Africa.
Gerald exemplifies his commitment to lifelong learning and industry excellence, with a BSc in Computing (Hons.) from Greenwich University and a Diploma in Computer Science and Information Processing from ABMA. He is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Computer Science at ZCAS University, and he is dedicated to remaining at the forefront of his field.
